Why we built Eternal
I've struggled to build a writing habit for a long time. Physical journals felt wonderful, but they're not always easy to access. Today's digital tools are built more for work, with endless options that make it easy to stray from getting into writing flow.
I built Eternal as a cozy place where I can come back to write daily. No distractions, just writing flow. Music, prompts, and small goals are there if they help. Once you start writing, they get out of the way. It's built for anyone who wants to write more often, including people starting today.
If Eternal helps you begin and makes you want to return tomorrow, it’s doing its job. We're an indie product built to be the most beautiful place to write on the Internet, and we hope you enjoy it.
